Prevention of Malpractices Code

The Prevention of Malpractices Code is an essential component of the Young Stars Cricket League (YSCLeague) and is designed to ensure transparency and prevent any misconduct within the league. The Managing Committee of YSCLeague has introduced this code to maintain high ethical standards and to create a fair environment for all participants. The code establishes guidelines and procedures for participants, including players and team officials, to maintain their conduct appropriately and prevent any actions that could compromise the integrity of the league.

Conduct of Participants:

All participants involved in YSCLeague are required to adhere to the provisions of the Prevention of Malpractices Code. This includes providing consent for the collection, processing, and use of information related to their activities within YSCLeague. Participants must familiarize themselves with the code’s requirements and comply with them, acknowledging the authority of the Managing Committee and the Disciplinary Committee.

During the YSCLeague duration, participants must uphold the code’s standards, with the decisions of the Managing Committee and Disciplinary Committee being considered final. No participant shall engage in conduct unbecoming to the spirit of cricket, whether on or off the field.

The conduct prohibited under the Prevention of Malpractices Code may also constitute violations of other applicable laws or regulations in India. While the code supplements these laws, participants must always comply with local laws and regulations.

Offences under this Prevention of Malpractices Code:

The Prevention of Malpractices Code outlines various offenses that, if committed during a match, either on or off the field, are considered violations. These offenses include providing false information during registration, attempting to influence or undermine various aspects of YSCLeague, failing to comply with the code of conduct, misusing inside information, and more.

Sactions :

The Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee is responsible for determining whether an offense under the Prevention of Malpractices Code has occurred. They have the authority to impose sanctions based on the nature and seriousness of the offense, including suspensions or termination of participation rights within YSCLeague.

The decisions made by the Disciplinary Committee and the Management Committee are final and binding on all stakeholders.

Amendment and Interpretation :

The Prevention of Malpractices Code may be amended periodically by the company, with such amendments taking effect on the specified date. The headings used in the code are for guidance and do not alter the provisions they refer to.

If any article or provision of the Prevention of Malpractices Code is held invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the code remains in force, excluding the affected portion.
