In a dominant display in the YSCL National League 2025, Ranchi Tigers secured a convincing 6-wicket victory over Lords of Punjab at the Yamuna Sports Complex, Delhi. Opting to bowl first, the Tigers restricted the Lords to a modest total as the Punjab batting unit struggled to build lasting partnerships.
Lords of Punjab’s innings saw Hanumant Rao top-score with 53 runs off 19 balls, while Anurag Soni contributed 26 runs in a valiant effort to stabilize the innings. Despite these efforts, the team was dismissed for just 93 in 19.5 overs, highlighted by disciplined bowling from the Tigers’ attack.
Chasing a modest target, Ranchi Tigers made quick work of the chase. The standout performer was Timanshu Sahu, who lit up the batting with a quick 19 runs off only 5 balls at a blistering strike rate of 278.95, anchoring the chase with aggression and precision.
