New Delhi, October 30, 2025 – In a one-sided clash of the YSCL National League 2025 at the Yamuna Sports Complex, Karnataka Champs produced a commanding performance to defeat Jaipur Smashers by 10 wickets.
Jaipur Smashers, batting first, managed 113 runs in their allotted 20 overs, with their innings led by Mehul, who scored 32 runs off 51 balls and Hemant Panjabrao Rathod, who contributed 24 runs. Despite a few contributions down the order, the Smashers couldn’t post a challenging total.
Karnataka Champs’ bowling unit was disciplined throughout the innings. Jasnoor Khurana and Parvej Akhtar were the standout bowlers, each picking up 3 wickets, while Lavish claimed 2 scalps to bundle out Jaipur Smashers. Their combined bowling efforts ensured early control over the run flow.
Chasing a modest target of 114, Karnataka Champs made light work of the run chase. Varun Dabas anchored the innings with a swift 36 not out off 9 balls, while Lara Das remained unbeaten with 37 off 8 balls, sealing the victory without loss of wicket in just 11.3 overs.
