Young Stars Cricket League to Conduct Open Cricket Trials in Ranchi on 19 April 2026

Ranchi, Jharkhand: The Young Stars Cricket League (YSCL) has announced a nationwide cricket talent hunt, with open trials scheduled to take place across 23 states in India. The initiative aims to identify and develop promising cricketers from different parts of the country.

As part of this large-scale program, one of the key trial events will take place in Ranchi on April 19, 2026, where aspiring players will get the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of professional selectors.

YSCL has confirmed that registration for all trials will be conducted strictly online, and no on-ground registrations will be accepted. This approach ensures a smooth and well-organized selection process.

The trials will include multiple evaluation stages such as fitness tests, net practice sessions, and match simulations to assess players’ overall performance. Selected players will receive opportunities to participate in YSCL tournaments and structured training programs.

A league spokesperson said, “Our goal is to provide a strong platform for young cricketers across India. By conducting trials in 23 states, we are ensuring that talented players from every region get a fair chance to perform and grow.”

Participants must complete their online registration before attending the trials and are required to bring their own cricket kits along with necessary documents on the day of the event.
