Anti-Doping Code for YSCLeague
1. Scope and Application
Nimble Sports and Events Private Limited (Company) is responsible for the operation of Young Stars Cricket League (“YSCLeague”), and this Anti-Doping Policy for the players and Team Officials (the “Anti-Doping Code”) is adopted and implemented as a part of YSCLeague.
Company by issuing this Anti-Doping Code wishes to provide for an effective means to ensure that all participants (Players as well as Team Officials) conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and restrain from conducting themselves in a manner that may be construed as violating anti-doping regulations. All matters pertaining to improper conduct of this nature shall be dealt by the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee fairly and expeditiously.
2. Conduct of Participants
2.1. All Players and Team Officials are automatically bound by and required to comply with all of the provisions of the Anti-Doping Code.
2.2. All players and team officials agree:
a) That it is their personal responsibility to familiarize themselves with all of the requirements of the Anti-Doping Code, including what conduct constitutes an anti-doping violation under the Anti-Doping Code.
b) To submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee to hear and determine charges brought pursuant to the Anti-Doping Code.
c) Not to bring any proceedings in any court or other forum that are inconsistent with the foregoing submission to the jurisdiction of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee.
3. Offences
3.1. The following conduct, if committed by a Player or Team Official at any time during, or in relation to, a Match shall amount to an offence under the Anti-Doping Code:
Anti-Doping will be construed to include engaging in any conduct (whether through the use of prohibited substances or methods) which is likely to violate anti-doping regulations.
4. Sanctions
4.1. Where the management committee/disciplinary committee determines that an offence under the Anti-Doping Code has been committed, they will be required to impose an appropriate sanction on the Player or Team Official.
4.2. The Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall consider the term for which the Player/Team Official shall be suspended based on the nature of the offence. The committee shall also have the right to terminate the existing right of the Player/Team Official to participate in YSCLeague, depending on the seriousness of the offence committed.
4.3. The decision of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding on all the stakeholders.
5. Amendments and Interpretation
5.1. The Anti-Doping Code may be amended from time to time by the Company with such amendments coming into effect on the date specified by Company.
5.2. The headings used for the various articles of the Anti-Doping Code are for the purpose of guidance only and shall not be deemed to be part of the substance of the Anti-Doping Code or to inform or affect in any way the language of the provisions to which they refer.
5.3. If any article or provision of the Anti-Doping Code is held invalid, unenforceable, or illegal for any reason, the Anti-Doping Code shall remain otherwise in full force apart from such article or provision which shall be deemed deleted insofar as it is invalid, unenforceable, or illegal.
