🏏 Sri Lankan Giants Defeat Nepal Warriors by 36 Runs in YSCL National League 2025

In a strong all-round display in the YSCL National League 2025, Sri Lankan Giants registered a convincing 36-run victory over Nepal Warriors, delivering a much-needed win in the league stage. Batting first, Sri Lankan Giants put up a competitive total, led by a composed innings from Vikash Ram Raj, who scored 57 runs off 45 balls, including 5 fours and 3 sixes, anchoring the innings beautifully. He received solid support from Nikhil Jaiswal, who chipped in with a quick 31 runs off 22 balls, adding crucial momentum in the middle overs.

Chasing the target, Nepal Warriors fought back through Imran Shaikh, who played an aggressive knock of 42 runs off 29 balls with 7 boundaries, but the required run rate kept rising due to disciplined bowling from the Giants. The Sri Lankan bowling attack was led brilliantly by Shahrukh Saifi, who delivered a match-winning spell of 3 wickets for 17 runs in his four overs.
