In a competitive YSCL National League 2025 clash at the Yamuna Sports Complex, Delhi, Karnataka Champs secured a convincing 29-run victory over Himachal Run Machines in a thrilling 20-over match. Opting to bat first, the Champs put up a memorable total, paced brilliantly by Bharath M who scored 54 runs off 38 balls at a strike rate of 142.11, and skipper Lara Das who contributed 45 runs with aggressive stroke play. Their partnership helped the Karnataka batting lineup set a challenging target for the visitors.
Himachal Run Machines fought back valiantly in the chase, with captain Aamir anchoring the innings with a quick 62 runs at an impressive strike rate of 182.35, but his efforts were not enough as wickets fell at crucial stages and the team was restricted just short of the target.
Karnataka’s bowling attack stood firm under pressure, with Rahul Hooda and Lavish both finishing with three wickets each, stifling the Himachal batting lineup and ensuring control throughout the match. Their disciplined bowling proved decisive in restricting the chase and ultimately sealing the win for Karnataka Champs.
This result strengthens the Karnataka Champs’ position in the YSCL National League 2025 standings, showcasing their all-round depth with impactful contributions in both batting and bowling departments. Meanwhile, Himachal Run Machines will look to bounce back strongly in their upcoming fixtures.
